Since it's been about a month and I've probably lost all (five, maybe) of my readers i decided it was time to update.
I've been working a lot lately, hence the reason I haven't been a faithful blogger. Between the two jobs I'm getting over 40 hours and I am exhausted at night. I've met a ton of people and am enjoying work for the most part. I love having a paycheck.
Onto the exciting part of my life... I just got my airplane ticket to VEGAS for the end of August!!!! My very generous boss from W Wear, Wanda, offered to get me a "buyer's badge" for the Vegas Fashion Week. Although it will be an expensive four days, I'm planning on it being a chance of a lifetime. I'm busy polishing up my resume in hopes of finding an internship within the next year. We have a party of six women going from the store and i cannot wait! The show will carry all the fashions for NEXT summer!
Also exciting... I met a really hot guy named Edward. He came into the store and I talked him into buying a bunch of clothes and then he came back 20 minutes later and asked me on a date.
We went for dessert and drinks at a trendy hangout here in petoskey. Then, this morning we went to breakfast before I had to work. The conversation is easy and he's a great guy. He's perfect except one thing. He lives in Las Vegas and he left today. I'm definately going to meet up with him when i head out there.
I have been having the time of my life up here. Moving up here was the best decision I could have made for this summer. It is definately the break from east lansing i needed and the only thing that would make me happier is if Jenna was up here. Hang in there jen... I'm praying for ya!
So... there ya have it. A quick blurb of the last month. I'll be more detailed when I'm not falling asleep on my keyboard.
